The goal of Black Student Alliance is to create an avenue for Black students and all students who support the Black experience, to feel a sense of community on campus. This organization will provide support for all Black students on campus regardless of nationality, culture, religion or ethnicity. Our goal is to increase Black representation on campus and to ensure that all Black students can be heard and supported with their academic and communal endeavours.

Cam’s Kids Carleton

Cam’s Kids is a non-profit organization committed to supporting young people who are struggling with anxiety. Here are Carleton University, Cam’s Kids works towards creating awareness of common anxiety symptoms in young people along with providing tools, lifestyle tips, resources, and events related to anxiety management. Our team of Ambassadors encourage the use of peer-to-peer support through sharing personal experiences, raising awareness of mental health, and creating a judgement-free community on campus.

Canadian Society of Civil Engineering – Carleton Chapter

CSCE Carleton Student Chapter is an academic club set out to provide a variety of services and events throughout the schoolyear targeted towards students in Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering. We host a vartiety of Social and Networking events where students can learn about the industry and potentially can meet future COOP employers, work closely with CSES (Carleton’s Student Engineering Society) to make all kinds of other fun events happen throughout the year, and also offer a variety of services out of our office space (3379 Mackenzie Building).

Carleton Afghan Students Association

The CASA shall work towards representing Afghan students, participating actively in the larger Carleton University student association initiatives, introducing Afghan culture, promoting cultural diversity, advocating for Afghan girls denied the basic right to education in Afghanistan, addressing and raising awareness about the persistent issues and injustices that people in Afghanistan experience, and overall allowing for Afghans here in the west to connect with their roots and culture once again. The CASA strives to provide a place for Afghans to celebrate their culture and a place for students and people of all backgrounds to learn about Afghanistan, its beauty, and the unfortunate injustices currently taking place.
