Carleton Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race

Our team was created in 1995 and has been a competitive team in the national GNCTR race that takes concrete sleds attached to metal tubing frame and go down a hill as fast and safely as possible. Due to Covid our team dead off a bit but this year Chris and Cole are trying to bring back this incredibly fun team. Involvement in the club can vary from helping manufacture the sled and writing the technical reports for competition or creating themes on the spirit team that we will decorate the sled with. This year’s competition will be held in ST.Johns where we will try to bring students out for learning on how the competition is ran.
