The Writer’s Guild is Carleton’s only CUSA-certified club dedicated to helping student fiction writers and peer editors make progress on their creative projects through their busy academic calendars. We’re open to all genres, but our members have historically focused on fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. Our past events included a conlang workshop with a linguistics Ph.D. student, a workshop on realistic fantasy mapmaking, a seminar on viewing writing through the lens of tabletop roleplaying games, and a writer-artist exchange and zine-making workshop in collaboration with the Visual Arts Club and the Book Arts Lab.
